The Little Memphis Blues Orchestra- Self Titled Album

I know I’m a little late on this. Life’s been busy. Sorry readers.

The Little Memphis Blues Orchestra (once known as the Taylor Hicks Band) recently released their self-titled debut studio album.

This album is definitely worth the $8.00 on iTunes. With covers like Jerry Lee Lewis’ “Meat Man”,as well as catchy and smart original tunes, LiMBO really brings it. The soul, the heart, and the energy that they are known for are all there.

You can buy the album on iTunes using a credit card, gift certificate, or paypal. I will also be giving away two copies (in the form of gift certificates) later in the week, so check back!

This is a KICKASS album. I like the songs on it better than two of the 3 Taylor has released so far.

I love this CD! For anyone who’s only heard them live or via cellcert, this is a must-have. They sound great! It brings a whole new level of appreciation for this band. And my anticipation for New Year’s Eve in Destin is now completely off the charts!

I can’t encourage people enough to buy. this. album. What a great combination of originals and covers, bluesy rock from beginning to end. I hope these guys can really make a go of it financially because they sure have it down musically. Its on constant rotation in the car, and “Southland” is on almost virtual repeat.
