Sorry I missed “Compared to What” – he tagged part of this anto another song at the Viper in La back during the AI tour…very intense, blew me away…very much the statement of the night.

Oh, I agree with “Compared to What” being the absolute best. I never heard of it either until that night at the HOB in MB and now it is on my Ipod. I wish Taylor would record it live and put on his next CD. That would be so cool.

A great big ditto from me with regards to “Compared To What.” What a kick azzzzz song! And Taylor kicked it up one end of the stage and down the other. What the heck else is in his bag of tricks? I cannot wait to find out. I have a feeling it’s bottomless.

The show was great from beginning to end. Loved the Greyhounds as well.

Taylor did NOT disappoint the sell-out crowd at the HOB Friday night. His high-energy show and genuine appreciation for the fans endeared those in attendance to him even more. He put together a perfect mix of pre-AI originals (HOYL, HOAD, H&S), new originals (nearly all of the new CD), and covers to rock the house. It would be hard to pick a highlight of the concert, but for me, if I had to pick one, it would be his cover of “Compared to What”. I had never heard that song before, but Taylor absolutely brought the house down with his performance of it. Words can’t describe it – you simply had to experience it – it was amazing!! For those yet to catch the tour, oh you’d better hope he includes it for your experience!!

Thanks for posting the link for the Greyhounds Myspace Ash. These guys are awesome musicians and as sweet as can be. We should all be supporting all of Taylor’s opening acts.
